The End of a Season...

Summer is coming to a close and I have to say I’m NOT READY! Kids are going back to school next week and I start my classes the week after. Where did the summer go? It seems every time I turn around weeks have passed.
I look back over the summer and realize that I haven’t gotten anything done. Sure the family attended a Cub Scout resident camp and then did a quick tour of Yellowstone where we saw a moose and her baby, a herd of bison, a wolf, and a bunch of sporadic elk, but what about the rest of the summer? Heck that was just a weekend.
June was filled with VBS camps and Hunter Education classes. July was the kids doing a jump start program through the school, and August well August was going to Cody and watching a live gun fight in front of the Irma Hotel, checking out the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, sleeping in a tee-pee (which was awesome!), going to the Cub Scout camp and then as I said before doing a quick tour of Yellowstone. Now we are buying school supplies and getting ready for the first day of school next week.
My house is still unorganized, my TBR pile (To-be-read) pile has grown while my other TBR (To-be-reviewed) has yet to have more books added to it. I haven’t done the reading that I normally do; I haven’t started or finished any new crafts. Where did the time go?

How about you? Has your summer flown by? Have you done anything fun or exciting this summer? Are you ready for school to start?
